Each Greenwich school has an allocated Attendance Advisory Officer who visits the school on a regular basis and works with the school to address attendance concerns. Referrals are made by the school to the service. The service also deals with children missing from education (CME), Education at Home and children in entertainment and employment that need a licence or work permit.

The Behaviour Support Service is a specialist service designed to help children with behaviour needs and those at risk of exclusion. The team work with school managers and other staff to help them to support children effectively. This can involve helping to design Personal Support Plans with school staff, developing Early Help plans, giving advice about exclusions and support for students re-integrating into education via the Fair Access panel.

We offer Bereavement Support Groups run by an Outreach Learning Mentor who holds a Diploma in Childhood Bereavement.One-to-one and group therapy support is available.Groups are one hour sessions, run over a term at the end of the school day.It is important that parents of pupils attending the groups participate in a 1:1 meeting with the Outreach Learning Mentor prior to sessions commencing.

CENMAC is a unique, London-based support service offering assessments, reviews and loan of equipment to help pupils with a disability access the curriculum. CENMAC offers early intervention, training and support to staff to increase their confidence and knowledge. CENMAC also offers advice and support to parents and carers, runs events, offers training and can help loan or help adapt school materials. Parents are invited to participate with all stages of CENMAC’s involvement and training is open to all. Email and telephone support is offered for families.
